Hyundai has confirmed that Dani Sordo will drive the team’s third entry for round 10 of the 2023 WRC season at the Acropolis Rally Greece next month.
Dani Sordo will pilot the third Hyundai i20 N Rally1 at the Acropolis Rally next month, alongside its full-time WRC drivers Thierry Neuville and Esapekka Lappi. The team announced its line-up after finishing Rally Finland this afternoon.
Last year, Sordo claimed a podium finish in P3 in Greece, while finishing in fourth back in 2021.
Teemu Suninen drove for Hyundai in Estonia as well as in Finland last weekend, finishing in P5 and in P4 respectively. It’s unclear whether Suninen will be back behind the wheel later in the season in Chile, the Central European Rally or Rally Japan. After finishing Rally Finland today, the Finn said: “I am really looking forward for the future.”
