The long-awaited 2023 WRC calendar has been revealed! The championship features 13 rallies, including a new three-country concept in Austria, the Czech Republic and Germany.
The WRC welcomes back Rally Mexico and Rally Chile as rallying’s top-level returns to the Americas for the first time since the pandemic. Further, an all-new three-country concept will be introduced in the form of the Central Europe Rally as the penultimate round of the season.
The Central Europe Rally will be held around Passau (Germany), which borders Austria and is not far from the Czech Republic. The asphalt stages of the rally will be run in the three countries.
The three-country rally effectively replaces Rally Spain. Ypres Rally Belgium and Rally New Zealand are also absent from next year’s schedule.
